Pretty Prairie Rodeo

Be prepared...this post has a TON of pictures...

This past weekend, we headed back to Wichita to go to the Pretty Prairie Rodeo in Pretty Prairie, KS.  This is where Nick and I shared our first dance 6 years ago and that is the day we refer to as to when we started dating.  We stayed for the post-rodeo dance on July 22, 2005 and danced together to "Keeper of the Stars" by Tracy Byrd while the "Crawdaddies" played (name of the band...).  Here are some other pictures of us at the PP through the years.

We'd like to make it a tradition to go to the PP Rodeo every year.  So far we've been to 4 out of the last 6 years.

Here we are at my parents' house.

Caleb's grammy has a special treasure box that he gets a prize out of every time he comes over.

He was so excited about his little froggy toy!  (This happened to be a toy he already had, but we forgot it last time we were in town.)

Caleb's new thing is knocking over stacks of blocks or cups or whatever you might find that is stackable.  He loves it!

You can see in the pictures how many toys Caleb has over at his grandparents' house.  Can you say spoiled rotten?  :)

We went to the shopping area New Market Square in Wichita because they have some little water fountains. We thought we'd let Caleb "play" around in the water since it was so stinkin' hot outside.

He wasn't the biggest fan of these fountains.

You can see the unhappiness in this picture.

At the rodeo with my two cowboys!

The cutest cowboy around!!  We got those adorable little boots at our baby shower and they worked perfect!

He loved watching the animals and cowboys (and cowgirls too!)!
