This past Saturday my folks decided to make a spur of the moment trip down to see their grandson. It had been quite awhile and it was about time - I think they just needed to squeeze him, hear him say "Papa" and "Ma" in person and to grab their hand and pull them around the house.
We took them to a Natural's baseball game (the minor league in the area) and had a lot of fun eating baseball park food and cheering on the Naturals. Caleb did great and loved hanging out with his grandparents. This is the only photo I got of our time with them.
We squeezed in a game of Hand and Foot (girls won!) and then dragged ourselves to bed. Sunday consisted of church and La Huerta and sending off a load of chicken to Wichita.
I am so grateful for generous parents who love us and love their grandson and love to spoil him (and us too!). I'm glad they made the quick trip down - even if it was for less than 24 hours!
