Soccer

This year, we signed Caleb up for Iddy Biddy soccer.  It's a small soccer program the city puts on for 3 and 4 year olds.  It is for one hour on a Saturday for four Saturdays.  It was a great experience!  Caleb had a few tears the first two Saturdays.  I think he was overwhelmed by it all.  He said the whistle kind of scared him and all the kids were so fast.  Haha.  By the last two Saturdays, after it was over he would say, "I didn't even cry Mommy and Daddy!"  It was a good way to break him in to playing an "organized" sport.  Nick and I are not very familiar with soccer, but Caleb has been interested in it for a long time, so we opted for soccer instead of t-ball.  He still likes it, so we'll see what the future holds!  We had some really beautiful weather for most of the days.

This is Caleb with his buddy Kastyn from church.

At the end of each one, the kids all got suckers - which definitely makes everything more fun and enjoyable.  :)

"Mommy, take a picture of me kicking the ball."

They got a cool bobble head trophy the last week.  We're so proud of Caleb for trying something new!

April 2015

Still playing catch-up a little.  We had a pretty low key Easter this year.  Church with family - Bekah was in town.  Had a tasty dinner at home and an egg hunt at home and church.

Easter cards from Gigi!

Caleb got to go to a birthday party for a sweet girl from church.  There was an awesome train to ride!

We made a trip to Wichita for my cousin's wedding and went to a Gaither Vocal Group concert one night.

Tyler and Robyn and their kiddos were able to make the trip too, so we got a bonus visit with them!  Had to get the girlies in their matching outfits.

My cousin John got married so we got some time with the Goetz fam!

My Dad (left) and his brother, Mike (father of the groom).

There's a family joke that all the men seem to take pictures with their heads tilted back, so every photo op has to include an intentional pose.

Church on Sunday.  Here's Caleb with his cousin Zoey.

We got to stop by really quick and meet Steve and Alyssa's sweet baby girl Paisley.  Steve and Nick were best buds in high school and have kept up their friendship over the years.

Uncle Rex and Aunt Sherri invited us all to the Nickelodeon suite for our first Naturals baseball game of the season!  Always so fun!!

April means Dogwood festival time!  Caleb got to check out the animals.

Caitlyn Belle got her 3rd tooth this month and can say hello and find her tummy!  We love this sweet girl!
