Caitlyn Belle is ONE!

Last month our sweet girl turned one!  What a quick and wonderful year as parents of two!  Caitlyn Belle has a tender heart, loves to make people laugh (just like her brother), still gets hangry (don't we all??, ha), loves graham crackers, dogs and her mommy and daddy.  She is very friendly and loves to wave at people.  She's not walking yet, but getting closer every day.  She can bark like a dog, moo like a cow, sometimes make an elephant sound and roar like a lion.

She knows where her ears, tummy and nose are.

Caitlyn can point to her mommy, daddy and brother when asked where we are.  She says mama, dada, hi, hello.

She gets so excited the first time Caleb comes into a room and flaps her arms and gives him a big hug.  Caleb loves to hug, kiss, pickup, hold and hold her hand as she walks, his little sister and sometimes she gets a little annoyed by all this in-your-face attention.

Her hair is long enough to put into pigtails and ponytails.  One of the ladies at her daycare calls Caitlyn "Smiley" since she's always smiling.

This is her teacher who we are so grateful for!  She even got a birthday card!

We went out for ice cream to celebrate being one year old!

Caitlyn loves ice cream, graham crackers, watermelon, bananas, breakfast bars, puffs, yogurt melts, chicken, green beans, bread and corn.  She does not like oranges, strawberries, or pears.

She sleeps through the night and loves books.

Caitlyn Belle, it is evident more and more every day that you are a miracle girl!  We are so thankful that God made us your parents.  You brighten our days and make us laugh.  We love you so much and pray you know how loved you are by your heavenly father!  Happy 1st (belated) birthday sweet girl!

Caitlyn's 1st Birthday Party

The first weekend in May, we got to celebrate our sweet girl's first birthday!!  We did a sunshine theme because she is our sunshine.  It was a beautiful day and we were able to do it at the park downtown so all the kiddos could play.  We had lots of friends and family there and it meant so much to us!!  It was a little windy, so the decorations didn't quite turn out like I had envisioned, but that's alright.

I had some coloring sheets and brought some chalk for some other activities for the kids to do.

We grilled out hotdogs, brats and had watermelon, pasta salad and chips.  It was a fun cookout to start off summer!

I found these fun sunshine glasses for party favors.  Isn't this sweet girl the cutest?

Caitlyn was worn out by the end of the party.  :)  It's tough work being one.

We are so grateful for our friends and family who came to celebrate Caitlyn Belle as she turned one year old!!
